It can be the difference between reaping all the incredible benefits of
doing yoga, or only getting mediocre results.<br />
<br />
There's two basic
reasons why it's so important to choose the right mat. The first is that
using the wrong mat can effectively wreck your enjoyment of yoga - I'll
explain more about the pain and discomfort some mats cause later on.
The thing is if you don't enjoy yoga then there's a very good chance
you'll lose interest in it and stop doing it, and you obviously can't
derive any benefit from something you're not doing. <br />

The second
reason is that a lot of mats on the market which are sold as yoga mats
aren't really designed specifically for yoga, so they don't allow you to
perform yoga properly. They might be fine for other forms of exercise
or movement, but yoga has specific requirements, and they just don't
meet them. You'll get the best results when you're able to maximize your
performance, so want a mat which faciliates it.<br />
<br />
And that's why you want to Proceed with care -- it will make a big difference in the long term.<br />
<br />
there's
just a few things to consider before you're ready to buy a mat, and now
I'll quickly guide you through the most important ones.<br />
<br />
You want
a mat that's durable, that can stand up to vigourous use. There's a lot
of mats on the market which tear or rip very easily - and you obviously
don't want to have to buy a new mat every few weeks.<br />
<br />
A 'true'
yoga mat needs to be at the right level of thickness for yoga practice.
Mats which are too thin don't provide enough cushion from the ground, so
they cause pain, discomfort, and damage your joints. On the other hand,
mats which are too thick don't allow you to balance and inhibit yoga
performance generally. <br />
<br />
If you have any kind of joint condition
then it's best to speak to an experienced yoga instructor before buying a
mat or starting yoga.<br />
<br />
Your mat needs to be sticky enough to stop
you from slipping while you're moving around on the mat. Slips are
dangerous, so preventing them is one of the key functions of a yoga mat.<br />
<br />
And
that's pretty much it! It's not complicated, but it is very easy to buy
the wrong mat if you don't keep these factors in mind.<br />
<br />
Before
closing, I might as well mention that my company has in fact developed a
yoga mat which fulfils all of the criteria I've mentioned in this
video. There are a few other minor considerations like weight, texture
and firmness which I haven't been able to go into here, but our mat has
been carefully designed to address them all. I've included a link to the

這兩種墊子: 可回收,避免環境污染.主要柔軟,伏貼,平鋪地面,抓地力極強. TPE的每張墊子約1200克重,比PVC的輕300克<span class="t_tag" href="tag.php?name=%E5%B7%A6%E5%8F%B3" onclick="tagshow(event)">左右</span>,便於攜帶.防<span class="t_tag" href="tag.php?name=%E6%B0%B4" onclick="tagshow(event)">水</span>防滑,即使出汗了,在上面練習止滑效果照樣棒!<br />

不過,TPE的墊子價格<span class="t_tag" href="tag.php?name=%E6%98%AF" onclick="tagshow(event)">是</span>很貴的,(這要看<span class="t_tag" href="tag.php?name=%E5%A4%A7" onclick="tagshow(event)">大</span><span class="t_tag" href="tag.php?name=%E5%AE%B6" onclick="tagshow(event)">家</span>的需求了)如果按性價比來看的話,PVC的墊子經濟,更實惠一些!<br />

1.拿過一個瑜伽墊首先不要打開,用鼻子聞一聞墊子的頂端.看是否有刺鼻的味道!一般好的瑜伽墊不會有太大的味道!打開後放至兩小時,可將微量的味道散發掉!如果經過好長時間,味道依然沒有散盡,那麼有可能,這個墊子的質量不過關!長時間使用會對身體造成傷害!<br />

2.用<span class="t_tag" href="tag.php?name=%E6%89%8B" onclick="tagshow(event)">手</span>感覺一下,看看沉不沉!如果很沉,有可能不是PVC發泡技術!是原材料堆積而成的!(一般<span class="t_tag" href="tag.php?name=%E9%83%BD" onclick="tagshow(event)">都</span>是2.5公斤左右,瑜伽墊是1.5公斤)PVC發泡技術,彈性極好,踩上去很快就會恢復原狀!而其他的工藝,踩過很長時間都彈不起來!這個工藝之間的差距大,也就是價格差距的最大原因之一!<br />

3.打開後仔細看看做工,是否精細!一般國產的墊子做工非常粗糙!有的只是單面發泡,接觸地面的一面不是防滑設計的!(還有的賣家把腳墊當瑜伽墊賣,大家要擦亮眼睛哦~~)<br />

4.用手掌輕推瑜伽墊表面,要有一種干澀的感覺,如果瑜伽墊表面發泡劑殘留過<span class="t_tag" href="tag.php?name=%E5%A4%9A" onclick="tagshow(event)">多</span>就有濕滑的感覺,那麼在上面作練習時會容易打滑、摔傷。 (不過,像一些台灣的好的瑜伽墊的話,剛剛開始上面有一層抗菌層,出了汗會發現有些滑,不過不用擔心,這個層漸漸退去後,防滑的效果就顯露出來了!但是國產的墊子就不行了,一直會這樣滑下去的!~~)<br />

I started by typing in "Yoga" into the iTunes App Store, and downloaded every free Yoga app available. After looking into those iPhone apps for a time, I proceeded to the paid apps, looking into each one I saw and made a quick judgement about how relevant it might be for this set of reviews. As a result, I ended up with around 60 iPhone apps! Here are the best of them, and some to watch out for.<br />

So without further ado, let us begin near the beginning.<br />

Between 200BC and 300AD an Indian philosopher known as Patanjali gave the world the Yoga Sutras - a series of aphorisms that set out the practice of the eight limbs of classical yoga. Though we know very little about the sage himself, Patanjali's great work is considered the cornerst<span class="t_tag" href="tag.php?name=one" onclick="tagshow(event)">one</span> of the knowledge of yoga practice, from asana practice to the deeper internal journey of meditation and self- realization. The work is set out into four chapters known as The Samadhi Pada, the Sadhana Pada, the Vibhuti Pada and the Kaivayla Pada. Yoga means union, sutra is the Sanskrit word for thread, and pada is the Sanksrit word for book. These 196 short phrases remain the foremost body of work on the philosophy of yoga. From the commentary and analysis of yogis, sages, translators and philosophers over waves upon waves of time we have accumulated the wisdom of yoga as it is practiced today - a combination of asanas, meditation and body/spirit care that has proven to be of timeless benefit to all who engage in this practice.<br />

Hatha Yoga<br />

This is the style most familiar to most of us. Hatha Yoga is also known as the forceful yoga; the name Hatha comes from a combination of two Sanskrit words Ha (sun) and Tha (moon). The western practice of Hatha Yoga focuses mostly on the asana practice, which is designed to keep the body flexible and to cool the mind in preparation for meditation. This form of yoga also aids in creating a harmony between our dual natures (masculine/feminine, hot/cold, will/surrender) and brings us closer to a deeper practice of yoga.<br />

Bhakti Yoga<br />
<br />
Bhakti yoga is the yoga of devotion and chanting. Predating Hatha yoga, Bhakti yoga is approx. 4000 years old making it one of the oldest forms of yoga in the world! North Americans most commonly come to yoga as a form of exercise, whereas Indian culture approaches asana practice as a way to calm the mind before meditation and worship. Kirtan is the practice of singing the name of God in all his/her divine aspects; translated from Sanskrit it means 'I surrender to the Lord'. <br />
<br />
Traditionally, kirtan is performed in a call and response style. The kirtan leader sings a line or verse of a mantra or prayer, and the kirtan group responds as accurately as possible. Kirtan is a community, a dialogue between the call leader, the kirtan group and the energy of the Divine. In the eight limb system of classical yoga, kirtan is considered to be pratyahara (focusing the mind inward) and is a bridge between our inner and outer selves. Bhakti yoga is the divine melody and rhythm of the human spirit, expressed in chanting and song.<br />

Karma Yoga<br />
<br />
Karma yoga is selfless service to others. This yoga asks that the yogi make his/her <span class="t_tag" href="tag.php?name=action" onclick="tagshow(event)">action</span>s in this world expressions of devotion and offerings to God, without considering personal gain. If you do community work, volunteer work, or just do something very nice for someone for no reason at all, you are <span class="t_tag" href="tag.php?name=performing" onclick="tagshow(event)">performing</span> acts of karma yoga. Gandhi's years of selfless service to South Africa and India are famous examples of the work of Karma yoga.<br />

Dream Yoga<br />
<br />
Dream yoga is about listening attentively to what your dreams are telling you. This knowledge is used to better your waking life by helping you pay more attention to your daily realities, dreamed or shared.<br />

Jnana Yoga<br />
<br />
Jnana yoga is the study of the philosophy of yoga; Jnana is the Sanskrit word for knowledge . The practice of this yoga involves deep meditation practice, study of the self, the True Self and the Transcendental Self. The yogi is challenged to examine the real and the illusory. In order to do so the yogi must use his/her mind to retrain the mind to separate the real from the unreal and thus discover and liberate the True Self. Jnana yoga uses meditation, introspection and contemplation techniques to attain wisdom and enlightenment.<br />

Mantra Yoga<br />
<br />
This is primarily the yoga of sound. The word mantra comes from a combination of the Sanskrit words man 'to think' and tra 'instrumentality' . Mantra is intention expressed as sound, unlike Bhakti yoga , which is strictly the yoga of song and chanting; for instance when you chant 'OM' you are combining mantra yoga and bhakti yoga. Mantras have been chanted for thousands of years (some continuously for thousands of years!) to guide the mind into meditation and to establish an intention to create states of consciousness or ask for divine guidance.<br />

Raja Yoga<br />
<br />
Raj is the Sanskrit word for king and Raja yoga is known as the Royal Yoga <span class="t_tag" href="tag.php?name=because" onclick="tagshow(event)">because</span> it brings out the king/queen in all of us; the noble inner self that is so infrequently acknowledged in our every day lives. Raja yoga provides an opportunity to focus on the quality of our daily thoughts and deeds, being careful to reveal the goodness that the workings of the mind often conceal or disregard. Most closely associated with the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, it is most commonly expressed in the eight limbs of Classical Yoga.<br />
